Who We Are
Orelo provides AI-conducted interview and roleplay sessions for customer workspaces. The customer that invites a participant controls how that participant's interview is used for its hiring, research, training, or evaluation workflow.
Data We Collect
- Account data such as name, email, workspace, role, and billing status.
- Participant data such as name, email, interview invite, consent record, answers, transcript, final notes, and audio/video when enabled.
- Template and workspace content such as interview questions, rubrics, uploaded context files, and generated reports.
- Product analytics and device data such as page views, events, browser details, IP-derived location, and error diagnostics.
- Payment metadata from Stripe, including customer and subscription identifiers. Orelo does not store full card numbers.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide the platform, authenticate users, send interview invitations, run AI interviews, generate transcripts and reports, process billing, maintain security, debug issues, measure product usage, respond to support requests, and improve platform quality, reliability, safety, transcription, interviewer behavior, and reporting features.

Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of personal data. If you joined an interview through a customer invitation, contact that customer first because they control the interview record. You can also contact Orelo at admin@orelo.ai.
Retention And Security
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Our baseline retention periods are:
- Interview recordings, audio, transcripts, reports, findings, and consent records are retained for up to 24 months unless a customer deletes them sooner or a separate agreement sets a different period.
- Participant address-book records are retained while the customer workspace keeps them, and can be erased by workspace admins.
- Workspace users, membership, templates, billing metadata, and audit-relevant operational records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Pending invitation tokens and similar temporary access records expire according to their configured expiry dates, though related operational records may remain for security and abuse prevention.
- Product analytics and diagnostic events are retained according to our analytics provider settings and are used only when optional analytics has been accepted where required.
We use access controls, invite-token checks, rate limits, transport encryption, and operational monitoring to protect data.
